Opus Software achieves Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) level 5 for Software Development Processes
Pune, June 1, 2011: Opus Software Solutions, a leading provider of software solutions to the payments industry, today announced company’s software development centre in Pune has been certified for level 5 of the Capability Maturity Model integration (CMMI) version 1.2 development models through the latest version of Standard CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement.
CMMI Maturity Level 5 version 1.2 is the highest level of process maturity that independently verifies an organization's capabilities to continuously enhance its processes through incremental and innovative process and technological improvements. CMMI Maturity Level 5 affirms the organization's ability to statistically manage the sub-processes in order to achieve process and business objectives.
This certification will assert Opus’ credibility to adhere standard practices and processes which will help Opus to accomplish predictable deliveries, increased productivity and enhanced quality output for the clients.
