This is a significant milestone in Opus`s quest for continual process maturity and improvement.
This assessment covered both the development centers of Opus Software Solutions in India – located at Pune and Chennai. Fewer than 10 companies in the world have been assessed at a CMM Level 5 rating for Services. This appraisal demonstrates Opus continuous commitment for service excellence & quality extending its earlier assessment for CMMi Level 5 for software development.
The Appraisal has validated the firm’s commitment and ability to provide ‘One Global Service Standard’ to its clients using its unique OpusONE™ framework. Opus will use this framework to strengthen its service delivery & service management to its customers to ensure consistent & high quality services with continuous improvements. Implementation of a common service vocabulary will result in the reduced complexities & lead to better co-ordination amongst delivery units. The continual feedback mechanism will help in rapid fine-tuning of the service performance & quality. CMMI-SVC is used to improve management and service delivery processes in an organization that develops, manages, and delivers services. CMMI Maturity Level 5 is the highest level of process maturity that independently verifies an organization's capabilities to continuously enhance its processes through incremental and innovative process and technological improvements. CMMI Maturity Level 5 affirms the organization's ability to statistically manage the sub-processes in order to achieve process and business objectives.
